Great boot, insufficient lacing

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I've been riding for 20 years and these are some of the most beautiful snowboarding boots I've ever seen. Finally a real leather boot again! Lightweight and seem to be well made but unfortunately I didn't get out of the living room in them. This boa lacing system is ridiculous. With one continuous lace from toe to ankle, tightening the dial gives you little more than upper ankle/lower shin adjustment. No lace control over the rest of the foot. I even tried a few tricks, trying to isolate and tighten the foot area. Zero success. Such a waste of a good boot. I'm so disappointed.

Thanks. Was about the jump on this but I need fit and function over style!
