Combining Danner's mountaineering heritage with Burton's shred science, the Burton x Danner Men's Snowboard Boot delivers riding performance, hiking prowess, and vintage outdoor style all at once. Top-shelf Burton tech brings the comfort and response you want for taking tram laps all day long, while Danner's hiking input and a rugged Vibram outsole ensure it's capable of venturing beyond the resort boundaries in search of fresh powder.
Inspired by Danner's Quarry hiking boot, the genuine leather upper maintains support and resists the abuse of daily thrashing. The foot-conforming Imprint 3 liner keeps your foot comfortably locked in place for enhanced response and less fatigue, and a Sleeping Bag reflective foil underneath maintains body heat on early morning pow missions. B3 Gel and an EVA footbed soak up vibrations when you're riding through choppy snow, while the PowerUP tongue increases rebound for livelier carving. It's finished off with a rugged Vibram Eco-Step outsole to ensure reliable traction on icy boot packs and exposed peaks.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I purchased these boots three weeks ago I have approximately 150,000 vertical ft and some hiking on them, and they are just getting broken in. The one piece sturdy leather design is what caught my attention. As I use them, and get them broke in, this is what I found out is the lower lace eyelets are not fully polished they have a sharp angle on the top edge that just shreds boots laces, they supply you with two sets of laces and I burned through them the first few days, (totally a design flaw) so now I have purchased heavy duty work boot laces. Another thing is that they are so sturdy that they should provide a boot lace puller to help in pulling them tight. The inner ankle speed lace is set a bit lower than my previous burton boots which gives your heal a tighter set, but it can give you that ankle bite by the end of the day. What I like is how sturdy they are, the one piece toe design is what caught my attention plus just how stylish they are. I almost returned them but, then I thought I will just take them to a boot shop and have the metal lace loops installed as the button Rovers have, to replace the Danner eyelets. Makes me wonder if they did any testing of those eyelets at all.????
