Burton Warmest Mitten - Women's

They ain't lying.

Slip on the Burton Women's Warmest Mitten, meet Old Man Winter out in the parking lot by the flagpole, and deliver a swift punch to his face for all the frozen hands around the world he's responsible for. Or just wear it when going snowboarding, it's really up to you. If you choose the latter, rely on the DryRide Durashell construction with an Insane Membrane 2.0 to provide waterproof, breathable protection in the form of a buttery-soft yet bomber package through some of the harshest storms on the mountain.

The combination of 550-fill power down and Thermacore synthetic insulation provides such a fiery warm fit that we're surprised it doesn't actually melt the snow around you. The brushed microfiber fixed lining provides next-to-skin softness and extra warmth, while the Screen Grab touchscreen-compatibility lets you text your boss that you won't be making it in to the office today without taking off your gloves.

They are the warmest!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

I bought these for my wife and here is what she has to say:

The only reason I have to stop snowboarding is because my hands get cold, and now that I have these I never have to stop!

They are super warm and durable. They are down filled with a leather palm and have touchscreen compatibility so you can easily use your devices with them on. They seemed a bit puffy at first, but get a little less puffy as you use them. They are great for super cold days and you can layer a liner underneath if your hands run extra cold.

I recommend sizing down, they seem to run a little big. I ordered the LAMB color and LOVE it.

Burton Mitten

I bought these because I wanted some big puffy mittens I could wear snowboarding or casually... They definitely run big. I would say I have medium size hands, and the mediums were YUGE!

That being said, I think the more you wear them, the more the fabric kind of gets less "puffy". They are super warm though, and cute enough that I wanted to keep them. I would just suggest maybe sizing down

    Thumbs up for days?!

    • Size Bought: medium

So I was super stoked about receiving these and then actually kind of bummed on the fit. I loved the idea of a cute girl mitten that is oversized and insulated. The thumb is about a half an inch longer on me and the extra fabric is stiff kind of making it impossible to grip anything. As a skier grabbing my ski poles is no longer easy in these bad boys!

I do hope next season they fix this issue so that these can be appropriately fitted! I love Burton everything except for these I might stick with Pow or Dakine : )

    New to the Mitten

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

I got these for a friend who has been eyeing them for awhile and this is her feedback: "I've always used gloves but have decided to transition and try out some mittens. I haven't had the chance to truly test them out yet, but the fit is great. The width of my hand is 3.25 inches and the medium fits very well, with even enough room to wear a thin liner underneath."
