Nice kid's pack
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
We have two of these Burton tinder backpacks for my kids, ages 6 and 5. They are very good quality and large enough to hold notebooks, etc. There is a zippered pocket in the top flap, and two separate pouches on the inside, so good for keeping a child organized. The sternum strap is a nice feature. My complaints are that the buckles are too difficult for them to press open, so we only use the drawstring feature underneath the flap. Also, as this is a kid's pack, I find the excess strap to be really long when you tighten the shoulder straps to fit a child. We have solved the problem by rolling the straps up and rubber banding them. Overall though, a good pack.
