Make your next business trip run a little more smoothly with the Burton Switchup 22L Backpack. One storage zone holds your clothes, toiletries, and other travel essentials, while another storage zone keeps your technology and business necessities in order, so your underwear doesn't come tumbling out when searching for your laptop in the middle of a meeting. Speaking of laptops, a fleece-lined and padded laptop sleeve protects your computer, and another padded sleeve stows your tablet for in-flight entertainment. Oh yeah, did you catch that this thing meets most airline carry-on size restrictions? That's right, no need to deal with the swollen checked bag drop-off lines.

Perfect Weekend/Ultralight Bag
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
We bought three of these last spring for our kids to use on a 2-week trip to Europe. They were perfect, no trouble with international carryon size, and easy for the kids (then 5 and 9) to carry around airports. Kids are small, and so are their clothes, and we had no trouble fitting 5 kid-sized outfits in each bag, to give us 4-day laundray intervals.
It's far too cool of a bag to let just kids use, so since then I've been stealing them for overnight to 3-day work and solo trips where I don't need any bulky clothes or gear. 22L is a pretty small size, but it'll easily do 2-3 non-bulky outfits plus a Macbook and toiletries. If you were a minimalist/ultralight traveler, you could definitely make this work for longer travel, especially in warm climates.
The ability to switch between the backpack straps (which our kids seem to prefer when they're carrying them) and shoulder strap (which I prefer when I'm carrying one), is convenient, and easy to use. Internal organization is great, and while I'm a sucker for packing cubes, there's no need with this bag.
Since we got these, they've been on a total of 5-10 trips each, many of those in the care of not-particularly careful kids, and they look new. Durability seems great, and I imagine these will last your years of regular use.
