    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the "Cray Cray" metal head backpack by Burton from Backcountry. I have been exceptionally pleased with every aspect of the ordering process, delivery process, and quality of the purchase. The delivery was speedy and accurate. Also there is a lifetime factory warranty for the original owner. Score!

Onto the bag, I use this bag for my three year old daughter who is very active. She loves the pack. She ADORES the chest snap strap, even for a youngster prone to explosive levels of frustration she is able to buckle and likewise unbuckle the strap all by her powerful lonesome(as preferred by most toddlers.)
The backpack is primarily a vibrant royal blue with brighter purple secondary. The leopard prints are subtly unique and complementary vs the usual loud use of animal print. It adds a nice dosage of femininity.

Now the size, the size of the metal head pack is perfect for a munchkin or even myself standing at 5'3". My daughter is able to pull the shoulder straps to their tightest measure and still have comfort, it is not too low but hangs right at her waist/bottom. (See picture)
The main pocket is large enough to hold her large folder, multiple projects, a lunch pack, a change of clothing, jacket/sweater/sweatshirt a.k.a. thick columbia fleece, and a spare set of shoes. The padded laptop divider is very handy when it comes to not smushing her beloved artwork and letter tracings. The side thermal pocket is super for a little girl speedily on her way to school forgetting to snap closed her H20 bottle, separate from the rest of the pack holds in small spills and on good days when the liquid remains in the bottle it stays cold for greater than 4 hours. Woohoo hydration! Also on the opposite side an equal sized side pocket (both are zipped btw) contains a key holder. We haven't found a purpose for this yet except for the occasional times she wants to bring a "buddy" along such as her arm hooked minion pals from the cereal box. As for the top/front mini fleece lined zipper pocket behind the logo it is pivotal for the salvation of our handy gadgets such as phones, glasses, media players, cameras (although probably not all at once.)

Finally, this bag is a 5 star all around for us. It works for a toddler and an adult. It is cute and stylish yet still subtle. It's like a cross between totally radical and a smudge of reserved sophistication. Best of both worlds and best pricing was right here at BackCountry.
    Go for it!

    In His love,
