Forefront of freestyle performance.

With its freestyle-focused design and comfort-enhancing features, it's little wonder that the Malavita Re:Flex Snowboard Binding has become the go-to choice for Burton team riders. Like a luxury sports car, it uses top-end tech to deliver the perfect combination of comfort and performance, so you can charge lap after lap with a smile on your face.

A responsive baseplate provides the power and precision needed to carve icy pipe walls, launch kickers, and blast pow turns. The medium-flexing Canted Living Hinge highback is tweakable for styling out grabs and jibs, but it's still supportive enough to handle the biggest hits in the jump line. Heel Hammock lets you run your straps a little looser while still maintaining a responsive connection, meaning you get lightning-fast edge-to-edge transitions without squeezing the feeling out of your foot.

The Hammockstrap ankle strap has a nylon strip running down the center that gives you a direct connection to your board at all times, meaning your board instantly responds to your every command. Plus, the asymmetric shape is reversible to allow you to choose between power or mobility. At the front, the Supergrip Capstrap locks down your boot securely without creating pressure points, so you'll never have to sweat about it slipping off mid-run. Double Take buckles have teeth on both sides to make clicking in faster, smoother, and, not to mention, more secure.

All-Mountain Solid!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These have been great all around. Cruising, park laps, back country, been great so far. I'm usually a Union guy but these have been pretty solid so far.

These are hands down the best all performance freestyle binding. Plenty of side to side flex to tweak your grabs and press through rails, but also good stability and responsive heal to toe for charging the whole mountain and sending the jump line.

Let Me Tell You About These Bindings...

GREAT all mountain free style feel. I have both the Burton Deep Thinker and Free Thinker in my quiver. I got these to pair up with my Free Thinker so i could have a more flexible, free style set up that will crush side hits, and charge the park. I went with the Tealest color, and couldnt be more impressed.. they look SO MUCH BETTER in person. They are a very responsive binding, and perform in every condition i have thrown at them. I paired the Genesis bindings with my Deep Thinker for a my powder/ big mountain set up, but these bindings perform great in the bigger deeper stuff the back country has to offer. Honestly, you wont be disappointed if you snag a pair of these.. so do it.

Award Winner Every Year.

You heard it right - the Burton Malavita continues to dominate the top freestyle binding year after year. With a medium flex it's perfect for hitting rails, has plenty of support for sending the jumpline, and tackles the rest of the mountain when you aren't ripping through the park. The "Winged" highback is awesome and wraps around your calf for extra control and support, but the regular highback gives a traditional binding feel. Packed with Burton's notorious hammock straps for comfort and "flex slider" for ease of strapping in, it can't be beat. This is one of my favorites in the Burton line.
