Burton Grom Boa Snowboard Boot - Kids'

Bunny hills to blue squares.

Push their progression from bunny-hill champ to blue-square slayer with the easy-flexing feel and toasty warmth of the Burton Kids' Grom Boa Snowboard Boot. Specifically designed for kids just learning to ride, the Grom Boa features an easy-ratcheting Boa closure that tightens and loosens with the simple twist of a dial. This alleviates many of the problems little rippers encounter with the lace-up boots of the past, allowing them to adjust fit on the slopes without the help of adults, or at least, with less intervention from Mom and Dad.

This liner-less boot features 3M Thinsulate insulation for high levels of warmth during freezing winter conditions. Its soft-flexing upper helps kids link turns without an overly stiff boot preventing proper turning dynamics. Accommodating fast-growing feet, the Room-to-Grow footbed expands the boot by an entire foot size. Once the boot is too tight, simply remove the footbed to increase the size, thereby prolonging the boot's use for another season. And because the secondary underlying footbed is fully padded, your little ripper won't sacrifice any performance or comfort with this expandable design.

awesome

    great first boot for kids

Too Soft, Too short for union bindings

I've riden burton boots for 20+ years and love them. Kids have had the velcro Burton boots and single strap grom bindings and they were good for beginners. I was hoping the BOA boots would be more aggressive but they are too soft, super floppy. They are also to short for the binding high backs. Good for beginners, but if you've got a mini-ripper, choose something more substantial.
