BurtonFly Pant - Women's

No more stopping at the lodge to warm up.

Year after year, you endure mid-winter cold with gritted teeth and a phony smile. We appreciate your positivity, but we can tell you're faking it. You can ditch the act with the insulated Burton Fly Pant. The Fly's medium-weight insulation will tame all but the coldest days, and for those, the Fly has a loose fit that makes it easy to layer under. Burton also treated the Fly with a DWR that blocks light rain and snow before it even gets to the waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell laminate, and a stretch taffeta lining adds warmth and a luxurious feel.

The Fly pant provides protection where it counts. The waterproof breathable DryRide Durashell membrane and fully taped seams handle nasty winter storms. Medium-weight Thinsulate insulation takes the edge off really cold days. If it gets too warm, you can dump heat in a hurry by popping open the mesh-lined inner thigh vents. The microfleece fly and waistband are soft to the touch, so you won't get nasty hot spots if your skin rubs against your pants. Burton also built a jacket-to-pant interface into the pants so you can attach them to your Burton jacket to create a suit of snow-proof armor. Expandable boot gaiters slide over your boots to keep snow from finding its way in. The integrated waist adjustments allow you to customize your fit, and you can dial it in with the belt loops. Burton also included reinforced hems with cuff elevators so you don't shred your pants walking through the parking lot at the end of the day. Finally, you can protect your valuables or just warm your digits with the fleece-lined, zippered front hand pockets.

I am not sure which size I should buy in...

I am not sure which size I should buy in the pants. I am 5'3", 105 to 107 lbs, and usually a size 0 or 1. Some reviews say a size x-small is too small. Any feedback would be appreciated.

My friend recently bought these pants and she gave me some good feedback for you. She is close to you in size and recommends to stick with the XS. She says they fit loose and most people should aim at their usual sizing.

I am looking for a pair of black pants...

I am looking for a pair of black pants that are baggy but are not too heavy. I would like them to have fleece insulation where it matters but also some vents. I think these pants might be the answer but want to make sure I'm not missing anything awesome. Thanks!!

This pants seems to be what you are describing for fit and feel. It is a loose fitting pant with good inside leg venting, lightweight but with thin fleece insulation. The problem is we don't have the black in stock at the moment. You can ask one of our Gearheads through chat whether we will be getting another order in soon for the most up to date info.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is my pick for this winter! I love this pant so much! Its baggy and mapped with perfect insulation. I get cold fast. The fabric feel is amazing! Im about 135 pounds 5?7 and I got the med. I have plenty of room for a think layer and the length is perfect. Ill give this 10 stars if I could!
