Drizzles and doughnuts.

It's no secret that Mt. Baker is a legendary spot for snowboarders—with magical glades of perfectly spaced evergreens and deep, surfy snow, multitudes of riders make the pilgrimage to see what Baker is all about. But if you're riding Baker, you're likely going to spend some serious time doughnut-hunting, coffee-sipping, and coast-walking in drizzly Bellingham. The Burton Women's Flare Parka Rain Jacket utilizes the same DWR-treated, Dryride Durashell fabric as more rider-oriented Premium pieces to keep the PNW precipitation off your street clothes, but it totes a slouchy, oversized fit for on-trend layering, so you can roam around town in style as snow piles up in the mountains.

  • Trustworthy protection from rain with a stylish design
  • 2.5-layer Durashell fabric seals out drizzly weather
  • Fully seam sealed to prevent rain from sneaking in
  • Oversized fit with mid-length coverage for layering
  • Adjustable fixed hood and dual entry hand pockets

Is that jacket waterproof?

The rain coat of my dreams

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Why are any raincoats short... so many are and it seems so silly. This coat is perfect length to cover your butt and keep more of you dry. Great style and totally not dorky like 99.9% of raincoats.

Good, Not Great

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS

Purchased this for my wife, here is her review.
I love the color (I got the True Blue) and the idea of how this jacket "should" fit. I'm pretty small (5'2'', 115 lbs) and I'm all about long jackets. I thought buying an XS would mean that it would still be long but fit like an XS...Well, it definitely has the length I like, but it's pretty wide. I ended up keeping it because I think it'll be great for layering, but I do wish it was a little slimmer.

Put to the test

My wife recently purchased this rain jacket for a trip. This jacket kept her perfectly dry and she likes the longer styling that can be worn more casually and not just out hiking etc. Style, quality, and comfort.
