Straps are Scratchy and Uncomfortable

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Fit on the face is wonderful, but the straps that loop around the back of the neck and head are very abrasive at the seams. Couldn't stand wearing it. Don't buy unless you like the feeling of something pokie digging into your skin.

It?s just ok.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought this so I could ski resorts and have more protection against Covid. The good news is that it fits my head comfortably and stays snug. The bad news is that the filters are practically useless. They?re super thin and hard to insert into the pocket. And once they are in place you can?t move your mask or it will wrinkle the filter and drive you crazy. The mask itself is also super thin. On a cold day you can see plenty of your breath coming out of it. I?ve also tried wearing it without a filter underneath a second traditional over the ears face mask for extra protection and that seems to work ok.

Useless

Bought this for skiing . The mask insert always falls out rendering the mask just about useless. Stay away.

good for exercise, multi-layered.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Snug fit reusable and washable. And the multi-layers makes it work well for any ski resort (or similar) place that requires a mask that has 2+ layers. I.e. when your old thin Buff that you used to wear skiing doesn't cut it with the new COVID rules. I have a large head and stand 6'3". It's snug, but not uncomfortably so. the adjustable straps help here.

Bought for skiing during COVID

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this for skiing during COVID. My first impressions upon opening it was that it was super thin. Not only was the mask fabric very thin so is the filter - to the point that it is hard to properly insert the filter into the mask. I heard a litmus test for bad masks is that if you are able to blow a candle out with it then it is not safe to wear. With this mask I was definitely able to make the flame flicker. All that is to say, I think this mask would be great for folks looking for a cardio friendly mask that might not be as safe as others (but I think it is safer than just a single layer of a normal buff). I have had one day of resort skiing with this mask. It worked better than I expected. My goggles didn't fog. The temps were on the warm side (28-32F); the mask never froze over nor did it get so wet to be uncomfortable or seem compromised. I'll be interested to see how it performs at lower temps. Also, the head straps didn't fit me as well at the picture but I do think that this design is better when wearing a helmet than over-the-ear masks (not sure if I'm the only one who has had issues with ones helmet sliding their mask off as they put it on). All and all, I'm happy with it so far.
