These are super comfy and moisture-wicking. Some of the best wool socks I've tried.

I wore these socks for multiple days on a recent trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro. I tested them against the Excel Merino Blend and the Cool Max hiking socks, and these Bridgedale socks blew them out of the water! Even after multiple days of sweating in them, they fit like a glove and remained free from odor. The other socks became stretched out and stiff. These socks did a great job in keeping my toes comfortable and warm even to Kilimanjaro's summit. I fell in love with this brand and look forward to trying out their other styles for running, snow boarding, etc.
This sock is partial wool with other materials. Absolutely no itch whatsover. Most wool and partially wool socks I find itchy. Not this one. It is soft feeling, good cushioning with reinforcement in the toe and heel, good compression (not too much and not too little). It is not thick nor thin, but midweight. It felt great when I put it on my feet, and even better when I put my feet in my hiking boots. I have small feet (womens 5 to 5.5), and the small fit me very well. Comfy feet equals happy hiker
My wife's review:
These are great socks! Don't shift on your feet in shoes. Plus a cute color.
I used these socks for a decent 14 mile overnight backpacking trip. I am happy to report that there were no blisters! They were comfy, and i liked the color :P. They were a touch hot however. I was in a good high 70s temp and my feets were pretty warm. Maybe not the best choice for hotter temps than that! The wicking feature these bad boys sport kept my feet dry even if they were warm!
I bought the pair of these that were on sale just so I could get the free 2-day shipping on my order (it was under $50) but I will probably be buying more. They fit well, have comfortable cushioning, and keep your feet pretty dry.
Bridgedale is about the only brand of sock my wife uses any more and these socks showed the reason once again. As a narrow size 8.5 foot, we've had a hard time finding hiking/ski socks that fit snugly and stay in place. Bridgedale always comes through and the mediums were a perfect fit.
These particular socks have great support and wicking. So far they've been field tested in cooler temps and have been warm without being overly warm and around the house they seem like they'll do a great job of regulating temps in the coming warmer months as well.
I love the bridgedale fusion trekker. I'm on my feet all day, and comfort is essential. I had an brand but it was bulky. This bridgedale sock has the comfort without the bulk. Thank YOu
