Worked fine, tight around the top

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought these for a series of hikes in the Canyonlands, as liners they worked great, my feet stayed nice and dry and I had no blisters. The opening of the liners was a little tight around my calf, not enough to really bother me though, just could have been a little more stretchy.

Very thin socks

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got these for summer hiking. It doesn't even feel like you're wearing socks.

Adequate for the job. Wish I would have read about them here before I bought them. Probably best for warm weather conditions, not great for extremely cold days.

Great socks for hot weather

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these because I was going Indiana for 6 weeks in the summer, and I wanted some long socks that wouldn't be too hot. I also bought a few pairs of Carhartt liners, but the Bridgedales are so much better. They are definitely worth the few extra dollars, and do a great job of keeping my feet cool.

Thanks for the helpful feedback!

Great for hiking!

Bought these for a multi day hike and I love them. Love the material and how breathable they are. Love the thickness as well. Great all around hiking sock.

Cool, comfy, tough.

  • Size Bought: Medium

Several pairs of Coolmax liners (white, M) have been in my sock collection for a couple years now. Have NEVER gotten a blister when coupled with a good pair of merino wool socks--even when breaking in new kicks! These liners have consistently kept my feet cool and prevented them from getting clammy in weather from steamy summers to bone chilling winters.

I typically wear a size 9-10 shoe (depending on manufacturer) and the mediums fit great.

For the Bridgedale CoolMax Liner - 2 Pack, how do I determine the size I need. I am female size 8-8 1/2

Thank you!

Men's sizes

Although the live chat person told me these were "unisex" socks, when I received them, they were clearly marked "men's" socks. So be sure to order the size accordingly. These are great liner socks. I've used them on long hikes--very comfortable, no blisters.

I recently ordered these and they have worked great to keep my feet from getting blisters and just all around foot comfort when backpacking. I would recommend these to any hiker!

Used as intended, as liners, these socks works excellent, keeps their shape and have long durability. For my part, I cannot remember getting any kind of blisters, even though I have used this model over 10 years and put them through everyting.

Used alone, they work well, but wear out quite fast.

Love them.

Use them daily for outdoor work. Feet stay cool. Durable. They have a good look and aren't blue or white. They stay where they're supposed to and don't fall down.
