BridgedaleCompression Ski Sock

Ski harder, recover faster.

If you're planning a long day on the hill, help your legs recover with the Compression Ski Socks from Bridgedale. These over-the-calf height socks feature nylon, merino wool, and some Lycra for a comfortable, supportive fit. The compressive nature of these socks allows them to help with muscle recovery, letting you ski longer and recover more quickly at the end of the day. Cushion in the heel and toes helps with comfort as well.

Already showing wear and were too tall

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm a short female (5'2"), and these socks were more than an inch too tall for me, and bunched up accordingly behind my knees. Otherwise they didn't shift around any and the cushion was good, but I also really didn't notice any advantage to these over other thinner ski/snowboard socks I own. I was hoping the compression might be helpful for long days, however, just didn't work out for me. Additionally. I ordered both these socks and the same brand's travel socks for a big ski trip overseas, where I wore these and the others just twice, and they are already pilling and showing signs of wear. Maybe they work better for others, but just didn't work for me.

Awesome for Touring!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I tried these out on a few big touring days and they worked like a charm. They keep the circulation going, allowing you to have those long days on the slopes. The light cushion in the toes and heel is a nice addition for those, like myself, that only need a touch of support.

Great job by these socks on the slopes!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Wore these for the first time on the slopes today and loved them. I wear a size 11.5 shoe and found the large to fit fine. Not overly compressive, but enough that you have to put some effort into getting the sock over your heal. The thinness of these socks it was I truly enjoyed. Today it was 30 degrees on the hill, but my feet never got cold. This was also my first time skiing without thicker socks, and I really prefer the thinner socks now. I just ordered a paid of the Vertige light socks since my wife loves them. Don't itch either and will hold up well over time. They are also long enough to come just below my knees. Perfect!
