Easy-peasy.

When you're headed to the bar at your ski-in-ski-out chalet after a day on the slopes, slipping the Women's Bogner Noemi Skirt over your leggings is a no-brainer. This way you can show off your wool baselayers and fit in with the locals without overheating in your snow pants or stuffing your suitcase with extra outfits. The down insulation keeps you warm and cozy if you're sipping your hot toddy by a snowy window, and the cut is flattering enough that don't even have to change for dinner.

  • Insulated skirt for aprés-ski revelries
  • Down-insulated for lofty warm in a drafty lodge
  • Zippered pocket perfect for cash and ID

Best down skirt ever

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 4

I've tried on every major brand of down skirt. This one beats the rest because:: (1) The full-length zipper starts at the waist, which not only makes it easy to put on (who hasn't fought to pull up a zipper from the hem of a garment?), but also means the skirt is easily vented from the bottom-up if the wearer quickly needs to widen her stride (like for jumping a high roadside snow bank, etc). (2) The style is simple and elegant. (3) The fit is flattering, tailored to be slimming even though it's basically a blanket wrapped around your midsection. (4) It's surprisingly warm. The description states its best for apres-ski but I think it might be equally stellar on cross-country trails. As for casual around-town use, instead of buying a long down coat to keep warmer this winter,I'm just going to pair this with the short jackets I already have. Money savings!
