First, I am normally very happy with Black Diamond gear and Backountry customer service but this hat was very disappointing, especially for a $48 beanie. The hat seams fell apart after only 8 weeks (see photo). Normally I understand this could be a fluke, however, I contacted the warranty department twice (it says "lifetime"), and they never replied. Disappointed with the price, the hat, and the response (or lack thereof)
