Why We Like The Alpine Light Pant
There’s only one thing you can be sure of when you’re heading up into the mountains—you don’t know what the weather’s gonna do. Black Diamond’s Alpine Light Women’s Pant takes a lot of the worry out of gearing up for fast summit bids, though, because they weigh nothing, move like they’re not there, and offer light protection against damp mountain mornings so you can keep your eye on the day’s objectives.

Crotch fits very strangly. Too bad because I really like the adjustments available on the waist (which was still too tight). But still they just fit weird, seems more tailored to men...I want to say it runs small but the waist was too tight, the crotch was too big and the legs were just right. I'm normally a size 4 so if you can make that work good luck

Sorry, Charlie........
I like the fabric, detailing, weight and color of these pants.......so it's disappointing that the cut is so weird. These pants fit really strangely in the crotch and are cut very straight in the waist. It is like they are tailored for a guy. I'm not a climber and was going to use them for hiking but there is plenty of give to the fabric so I can't imagine that even a climber would need all that extra room in those places. Overall fit is true to size.
