Versatility for the alpine.
Regardless of what sport takes you to the uppermost elevations, the Black Diamond Women's Access LT Hybrid Insulated Jacket will provide you with the on-demand warmth you need when playing in the alpine. This versatile insulating jacket works great on its own when you're on belay and functions equally well layered under a shell when you're alpine climbing or ski mountaineering.
Breathable Pertex Quantum fabric lets you push yourself with the the jacket on, while Schoeller stretch-woven side panels are specifically designed to optimize mobility while you climb. The PrimaLoft Gold insulation piles on the warmth and is highly compressible, so the jacket can be stowed in one of the two zippered hand pockets and stashed in a backpack or clipped to a harness with the attached carabiner loop. To protect against heat-robbing moisture, the jacket is treated with a DWR finish throughout the body along with NanoSphere technology along stretch side panels.

- Q & A
Just what I wanted
I purchased this as a mid-layer to wear under my ski jackets skiing when it is really cold. I wanted something which was super thin, and with out insulation under the arms and arm pits and sides because some of my ski jackets are a close fit. I don't like feeling like a stuffed sausage . This fits the bill. It has strechy material under the arms and arm pits, allowing freedom of movement. I have not actually used it yet, as I purchased this when ski season was just about over. Fit, I am 5', 100 lbs, 34c, and usually wear a size small in jackets. The small was too big for me and I ended up with the extra small, so i would say it is generously sized.
