Good price for a 20 degree bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Backpacked with this to Havasu Falls in Feb - it packed down well. The bag was a little too warm on the 40 degree night and did fine on the 18 degree night (with a hot Nalgene at my feet).

Great Bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First, of all, the quality seems better than I would have expected for a bag at this price. It feels durable and I like the design of the stuff sack. The stuff sack has four straps that you can cinch to compress the size of the sack to about 1/2-2/3 of the normal stuffed size. It's warm and super comfortable. I was camping this weekend and the low was around 19 degrees, and I slept comfortably with a sweatshirt and with a sleeping bag liner.

Basin and Range 20 degree staple

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Great bag for an unbelievable price! Packs down to a manageable size and the fleece head lining is particularly cozy. The color way is actually one of my favorite parts!

how can you beat this bag & price

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bag was a no brainer to me , The price along with its dependability all summer this should be at the top of everyone's list if your looking for the best bang for your buck. although it is synthetic insulation the bag packs very easily and does a great job for me all around utah during the summer. I recently went from a big agnes bag to this and can not tell the difference in quality or design , Don't let the price fool you this bag can contend with big boys any day of the week !

Quality product for a great price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This has been a great bag for various trips since purchasing this past spring. While camping in cold conditions at Mount Hood this past May, I slept comfortably throughout the night. The interior pocket is great for keeping important items like phone, wallet, etc. stored safe.

Very Warm

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've been looking for a sleeping bag that keeps me warm when it gets cold at night in the desert. This is a great bag, I actually slept on the outside of it because I was warm while camping but will be using it more coming up as the seasons change as well it's a great bag.

Good bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Awesome bag I loved it for the most part. I slept in it inside a hammock when temperatures were right around a low of 20 degrees and it kept me plenty warm! my only complaint about it is it didn't have the neck barrier and I couldn't close off my body and keep in heat that way. Over all the bag is a solid purchase.

Warm, compact, and inexpensive

Used this sleeping bag on a 3-day trip in the spring through Escalante National Monument. During this time we experienced hot nights around 60 degrees and one night below-freezing. The bag kept me warm on the coldest night and zipped down easily to keep me comfortable on the warm night. The bag packs down nicely and is great for car camping or short backpacking trips.

Great bag and great price! I used this when I was camping and snowboarding at Mt. Hood at the begging of May this year. Packs great, super comfortable, and just all around a great bag.

Awesome price for a 20 degree bag

The basin and range sleeping bags are great quality, awesome color patterns, and pack down pretty small. I bought a couple to re-up on our sleeping bag reserves recently, and put them to use right away. Happy about the selection.

        Great Bag for the Price

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bag is a steal for the price and is definitely a 20 degree bag. I've used it a few times in around 30 degree temps and found it to be comfortable for that range.

At 6'0", the bag fits me well, but if you were any taller it would be a tough fit.

Great choice for car camping, a little heavy for my taste for backpacking, but overall a great bag so far.

It was cold outside, this kept me warm

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought this prior to a camping trip that ended up being super cold - the overnight low was approximately 18 degrees Fahrenheit. This bag was a champ though and kept me warm (note, I put a handwarmer in the foot area just in case). Honestly though, this bag is well made, packs up easy and is super-cozy. Well done Basin & Range!
