I love cooking in cast iron! this package is a great deal to get all the essentials, and that cleaning mesh is the best tool I've ever used to clean cast iron! All around great buy, and they look really nice!

    The only way to cook

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Cast iron has become my new favorite tool for cooking. It's versatility, durability, and the fact it gets better with age and time put it over the top.
I particularly love Barebones because of the modern design and proprietary seasoning blend. Specifically the ergonomic handle really aids in getting a solid hold on of a heavy skillet, giving you mechanical advantage (leverage). They come preseasoned, ready to cook which is an added bonus, but I personally did a quick rinse and applied some seasoning blend prior to first use. This kit will change your personal culinary experience.
*Cast iron is actually quite easy to maintain and clean, but it's a bit intimidating at first if you're not immediately familiar how to use it. There are a variety of videos, blogs, etc on the line ("online") to review from a variety of sources. I would suggest taking a little bit of time getting familiar with those sources before embarking a fantastic cooking journey.

Nothing tastes better than everything you eat being seasoned with bacon. That's right. You can season all your cast iron in bacon grease. Please call me if you need tips. It involves cooking a package of bacon.
