  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Barbour sets the standard for classic, well made design. I spent some time living in London, and was introduced to Barbour there. It's a timeless brand, excelling in quality and style. This is a poncho style wool sweater, so it's fairly exposed on the sides, but SO warm and cozy. I pair this with a black long sleeve and black leggings. The sweater is long (covers past the bum), but not bulky or boxy or unflattering. It has a nice drape effect and really lays nicely on the body. I purchased in a US Medium, although I probably could have done a small. The medium is not too big though. I'm 5'2" about 120lbs and the medium still fits. I would recommend true to size or one size up.
