Not quite what I hoped for
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
So admittedly I am already biased by another shoe. I have been looking everywhere for a snow boot that replaced my North Face boots in comfort & warmth but exceeded them in appearance (they weren't very cute). while this boot is a little better looking it failed in many areas to compare to my much loved boot. Right away I noticed that it had more of a dress boot feel than a comfortable walking boot. It has a narrow footprint which I found easy to kinda slip off of & I guess roll my ankles on. The sole of the boot was very hard too & I replaced the insole with a Dr Scholls gel insert. The cinches don't really tighten down enough & it feels as if boot could slip off easily. I took these on I short hike (I forgot my other shoes) & decided I would not do that again. The bottoms of my feet are really sore despite the insert pads. While I will keep these for just running errands in(mostly because I don't want to deal with hassle of returning), I would not recommend these.
