- Q & A
It's not sticky tho.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The rice is not sticky so if you are looking for that sticky you won't get it. It says it is a dessert or a side dish but I think it's more like a random snack. It tastes good but it lives outside breakfast, lunch, or dinner for me.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I'm not going to lie to you and say this tastes just like the stuff you can make at home. However, I will tell you that it is a hell of a lot easier to prepare and after a long day of backpacking you're going to appreciate it more than the stuff you can make at home. It's also not as sweet as your standard mango sticky rice and the rice isn't actually sticky, but I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
Mango sticky rice
I bought this rice to eat as a dessert. It was definitely more of a side dish and not as sticky as I had imagined. Overall, it made for a tasty side dish.
Just like in Thailand
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Seriously delicious. This was more than enough for three people to share after dinner. The flavor is spot on. Get this dessert, you deserve it.
