I saved this for the last night of my three night backpacking trip and it was SO good! After eating freeze dried food for days on end, it was awesome to have a sweet treat! no need to heat up any water either which is convenient! Will definitely get this one again!

Favorite Camping Dessert So Far!

Delicious! Everything tastes better on the trail, especially after significant mileage and elevation gain, but this dessert is the best I've had backpacking! It's easy to prepare and worth packing in the weight (but it's actually very light weight and packable).

Instructions say to prepare with cold water - if you have an alpine lake around this is very easy. I can see how this wouldn't be as tasty without cold water - luckily nature provides that on most hikes. I made mine with freshly pumped water from a stream, but left the package under a rock in the stream during an afternoon dayhike. When I returned for dinner, it was perfect!

I'm getting one for every hike this fall!

Sugar me up, Baby!

If there's one thing I need in the backcountry to keep me going, it's sugar. This delivers the dose I need in a tight, packable, lightweight package. Not only is it delicious, it makes everyone jealous. The only problem is I don't like to share my sugar, so it can create tension in camp. If you are considering purchasing this product, I recommend buying two, so you don't have to endure the steely, unforgiving gaze of your climbing partner.

When you need a sugar fix...

This is a surprisingly great dessert. We have had it many times and will have it many more. We advise not mixing it in the package but a bowl if possible - you won't waste an in the package cracks.

    Yum Town

      On board to Yum Town.
A fast and easy treat for camping and backpacking.

      OMG good

Seriously, this is some good tasting stuff, and they do a fine job of trying to get creme brule to the trail. I will get more of this.

Insanely good. As in, I cant keep this in my house and have to buy right before a trip or it will get eaten. On my couch. With a heavy side of shame.

I second WhoDat. I cannot keep this at home, or it won't make it to the trail. Is this available in a #10 can so I can get some to the trail?

      Addictively Delicious

Creme Brulee in a bag - what?! I don't know how they make this stuff, but I think they must sneak in some crack because this stuff is too good to be true. I'm forever addicted. Thank you Backpacker's Pantry!!

Cannot wait to try this, Mitch!
