An Italian classic for the backcountry.

A zesty twist on an Italian classic, the Backpacker's Pantry Chicken Piccata with Tagliatelle Pasta is as full of flavor as it is of protein, and hits the spot after a long day of hiking to camp. Delicate egg pasta, parmesan, capers, all-natural chicken, and a light lemon-garlic sauce all come together to redefine what it means to cook dinner on the trail.

Really....really bad

This is essentially inedible. Imagine taking a container of salt and eating 2 or 3 tablespoons. If you eat the whole package, you just consumed 120% of the daily recommended sodium the label. I just can't imagine how this product is even available for sale. Has no one from the company tried it? Obviously, being in the backcountry, I had no where to throw the package away, so I had to keep it with me. Occasionally while digging other things out of my pack, I would catch a whiff of this "meal" and it just made me ill. Several of the other meals this company produces are quite good. This one, is not. At all.

    Tastes good

My favorite one I had. It tastes good and is easy on the stomach after a long day backpacking.
