6' 185lbs athletic build, medium fits perfectly. almost identical fit to the other brand daily. It's march so i can't comment on summer use but i think i'm gonna wear it all the time.

A one hood quiver

This is my go to base layer; no matter what the season or activity! This and a pair of bibs makes a great touring kit. For days on the river, be sure to pack few Tahoes with you. Working in the yard? Tahoe sun hoodie time. I probably own this in 4 different colors and I will keep adding to my repertoire. You can wear this every day of the year. Does fit a bit big, and i like a loose fit. Sleeves were a good length and it comes down a few inches below my belt.

Best Sun Hoodie Out There

I love these things! I have every color, and I wear them daily in the summer. They dry quickly, fit well (a little on the looser side of things), and they look great. The material is super soft, they stretch just enough while you move, and the hood has a nice rounded fit without being too baggy. Overall, these have quickly become my go-to summer shirt!

Alright/decent, not great IMO
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
After too many scorching days on the trail I have been searching for the best sun hoodie for me. I am a woman and have been testing XL in men's sizes. (I prefer a baggier fit and have a tall frame.) I got the Winter Sky color which is a bright light baby blue. This SPF hoodie has very long sleeves which put it above Outdoor Research's hoodies for me - those barely came to my wrists. It is also long overall (covers my butt, comes to the hips in front too) which I think makes it less flattering on me. I enjoy the weaved texture of the fabric and it feels good against my skin. As long as there's a breeze, it helps ventilate and keep you cool. Unfortunately, doing some bushwhacking, the bottom seam got easily torn up. It also has some stains from sweat and dirt and holds some stink though I do sweat a lot... Overall it's functional but I'm going to keep looking. If it comes back in stock in Smoke Gray I might consider getting a second one.

Great Sun hoodie

Really not a fan of / can never remember to put on sunscreen so for long days outside, whether it be a hike, walking 9 holes of golf, or spring skiing, this thing is great!

Too loose/baggy
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Colors are nice. Material is warmer than other sun shirts. Most of all, the sleeves are WAY too long and baggy. Returned.

Comfort, Style and Durability

I'm not sure what the reviewers who rated these great lightweight logo hoodies poorly are thinking. They look great, fit as expected, are made with sustainability in mind and hold up well on the trail and against my new puppy claws at home. Despite being long sleeved the lightweight fabric and UPF 50+ makes these suitable even in warmer weather. Thumb holes are durable and properly positioned and the drop length is perfect so the shirt doesn't rise above your belt when you reach over your head. I love the high Spandex content which gives the shirt a great feel and just the right amount of stretch. They aren't inexpensive TBS, but there's a lot of technology built into these durable, Bluesign, fashionable hoodies. Couldn't be more pleased!

Wore this hoody for my CDT thru-hike. Backcountry nailed it: The fit is nice and loose for mobility. The hood is generously cut and works great with a ballcap helping to keep it in place. Thumb loops: thank you BC. It worked across the desert and sun-exposed terrain, blocking the sun without making you feel confined. While it won't be enough on its own, the hood was super-helpful in keeping the mosquitos at bay. Will be buying these again.
