It’s rad!

I live in sun hoodies most of the year either as a moisture wicking base layer in the winter or as a shelter from the sun during the summer so I consider myself a bit of a sun hoodie snob. First off the material in this hoody is significantly different than most that I have had, it reminds me a lot of a mountain bike jersey with a much more textured finish. The seams are beautifully crafted and the fit is perfect (for me) I like the attention to detail with the gusseted armpits, high neckline, helmet compatible hood, and interesting shaped thumb holes. Ultimately the summer is when I thrash and trash most of my hoodies so it still needs to stand the rest of time but first impressions really blew me away.

        Lightweight and versatile

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: True to size

My husband is 6'2" 180lbs and has one of these in every color. He wears a size Medium, which is true to size according to the size chart.

These are super lightweight and great for ski touring, hiking, lounging around, or walking the dog. It's true that the sleeves are longer to allow you to use the thumb loops, but they are also easy to push up and keep around your wrists instead of falling down. He's worn them on various hikes and ski tours, and they've held up well with dirt, snow, throwing gear around, backpacks on and off.

He's wearing one to work from home right now. :)

A lot to like, a few things to improve.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Size Bought: M

The color, weight, comfort and general fit of the hoodie are all great. I have had it a few weeks now and the durability seems like it will be good, but the jury is still out on that. I wore it as a second layer on a shaded hike during a 65-70 degree day with a 35 pound pack and was very comfortable. My one concern is the sleeve length. Because they are longer to allow for the thumb holes, they are pretty long and baggy at the end when you are not using the thumb holes. Fit and functionality are not impacted, but overall look is. other than that, it is great. I could see myself wearing this as a single layer on hotter days or casually when I don't feel like putting on sun screen for short day hikes. Overall a good product.

        Awesome purchase!

This lightweight hoodie is awesome. It is a very thin material that breathes well and can be worn in warm temps for sun protection. I also like it for a gym warm up or just around the house. Very comfortable fit - the long arms and thumb holes are good for tall people. Overall awesome shirt - probably will buy other colors.

        Tea Time

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Size Bought: M

First impression is super comfy and lightweight.
A little heavier than the Pategonio, but I like that, feels durable.

Just an overall great anytime casual wear and perfect for fly fishing.
Thumb holes cover most of your hand, which is crucial for buggy rivers.

So light you forget it's there

This is a great piece I'm happy I added to my adventure kit. It's a great layer to add on chilly mornings to make you a little warmer, but not have to delayer as soon as the sun fully rises, it's nice and breathable when the sun is up so you can protect yourself from being burned and stay cool, and it has enough stretch to move with you on any adventure!

The thumb loops are a great touch to keep sleeves where they need to be on runs or climbs, and the hood is light and doesn't come over any part of your chin in strange ways like some other sunshirts do. I'll definitely be wearing mine all summer

        How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
        Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
        Sleeve:
Have someone measure from the center of the back neck down the arm, with arm slightly bent, to the wrist bone.
        Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
        Inseam:
Measure from the crotch to the floor with no shoes.
        Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
