I'm a 27/28 and ordered a small based on others reviews and the size chart - they were so, so very tight... Way to tight to wear on the trail, especially with bibs underneath. I had to return but will try a medium because they are cute, well made and you can't beat the sale price.

These are the only shirts I reach for - with 2 from 2021 and 2 from 2022. There are lightweight, comfortable, breathable and look great! My only complaint is the pockets are a little smaller this year - so they still fit my phone, but not quite as comfortably while riding as last year. Still the best either way!

I have a plethora of ladies baggies and I'm a big fan of pattern so I picked up the Orchid Geo Topo shorts and I adore them. They fit amazing, the small (what I'd normally get) felt just a bit snug, so I sized up to medium and I couldn't be happier. They're super lightweight, have two zipper pockets, and the material is really comfortable. With other brands the material tends to be heavy, thick, and they don't breathe well. I live in Florida and so that breathability cam be a big factor. The Backcountry shorts have ventilation built right into the shorts (no zipper to activate) and pockets are mesh to keep things light. So far I'm considering these my new favorite. I'd love to see more patterns, but all the fun color combinations are a really nice option. It's been a long wait to see more women's MTB clothing brands make the leap into vibrant options. Keep up the great work!

These are my absolute favorite mtb shorts. I have tried so many expensive brands and never quite find a good fit that is flattering and comfortable. I am curvy in the hips and thighs. These fit amazing and the material is so lightweight and stretchy and seem slimming. Very impressed with the quality. Buying another color!

Im not really a review kind of person but these shorts are actually perfect. Stretchy, the shape is spot on, length is great, and they don't stretch out. I mtb all over Utah and these are the only shorts I wear. For reference, i bought the small but could have went smaller so maybe size down if you're in between. But seriously just really perfect, classic MTB shorts.

I had pretty high hopes for these shorts based upon the reviews and size comparisons. Based upon previous reviewers, I should have been somewhere around the S, maybe a M. Well, the size S was way too small for me, not even close to buttoning closed. Based on that I don't believe a M would fit either. The legs fit fine but the rest not so much. They seem too high waisted for my build. Great material, though not as stretchy as I imagined from the photos. I'm 5'4", 135, athletic build. Oh well, the search continues...

I was excited to get these shorts. I loved the feel of the fabric and the fun patterns/colors. I also liked the waist and laser cut vents. However, I do feel like they run a little small. I typically wear a size 4 or 6 pant, or a size Small. I ordered the Small in these and they were too tight, even without a chamois. For now I just returned, but may order in a Medium in the future.

Great shorts and I am xxl, these run small. I am 210 5'3 and it does not button. I am writing the review because I read the reviews for larger women who are athletes and can't find sports wear to fit them. I have strong thighs and there was not a problem there.
