Great gloves for everyday use

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: M then L

I bought these to replace a very old pair of leather gloves I'd put through the wringer. I wanted something simple and clean looking that could work for casual wear or business/formal settings (whenever we get back to those). These gloves are perfect in that regard and have been plenty warm my first few times out with them.

I did run into an issue with sizing. The alpha sizing guide said I was a medium even though every other pair of gloves I've owned for any purpose have been L or XL. I ordered a M pair, but when they came it was very tough to get them on (really had to stretch the opening). Once on they were nice and snug around the palm area, but a finger on each hand felt cramped, like the gloves were too short. I exchanged them for an L and the fit is much better. I think the unisex guide might be a little misleading, so if you're a guy or know you have long fingers like me or something else unique about your hands you might want to go a size up from the guide.

One thing another reviewer mentioned that I noticed too is the thumbs being cut kind of wide. For me it's not really an issue and it doesn't seem to affect the warmth or function, but might be a small improvement to make on a future version.

An added bonus: I was told these aren't touchscreen compatible and the first pair I got definitely wasn't but, to my surprise, the L pair I received in exchange seems to work pretty well on my phone so far. At least the index fingers and sometimes middle and especially the right-hand glove. Not sure if it's something about the seams on this pair or what, but I'll take it!

BonBro Gloves-M and BonBro Gloves-Lg

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: M and Lg.

I purchased these gloves because they were on sale, and I liked the design and color. I purchased both medium and large, because I didn't know which size would give me the best fit. The display card on the gloves state they are Unisex. I tried both of them and neither size was acceptable. I could barely get the large size on to my hand, because the opening was too narrow and no stretch. The fingers were also too long. I couldn't get the medium glove on at all, because the opening was too narrow. I have average size hands. The thumb on both sizes was extremely wide, and not snug. I don'y see how these gloves would be acceptable to properly fit a man or woman's hand.

These Hit the Spot

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

I've been searching for leather gloves and these fit the bill. The Bone Brown leather is buttery and a very nice shade. The lining is soft and not too thick. I don't think they're meant for very low temps, but they work for my use in the Southeast. Small bit of branding but very subtle. Pull tabs are a nice feature to have. I got a size Large using the Alpha sizing and it fits like a glove, pun intended.

Great light duty glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I picked these up for walking the dog on cool nights and since my hands haven't been cold. These would also be nice for warmer days on the mountain or as a pair of gloves you keep in your car during the winter time. These are not the warmest gloves so I wouldn't recommend them if you get really cold hands or are looking for a really warm glove for cold days skiing. The leather is nice and the fit is perfect.
