Why We Built The Frary Fleece Tight

Because winter can't keep us shut indoors, we built the Frary Fleece Tight for exploring ski towns in the colder months of the year. This fleece-lined legging offers warmth in a performance package, letting us jog with our dogs, visit our favorite trails, and après-ski in style. DWR-treated threads keep sweat and snow at bay, and a secure side pocket lets us stash gloves, lip balm, and other cold-weather necessities.

Soft but not durable.

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Very soft and comfortable. I bought them for my trip to Patagonia, Chile. At the second wash they began to unsew. First the pocket and then the side seams.

Comfortable but...

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These look good and fit well, but I probably wouldn't recommend them to a friend. These pilled literally the second time I wore them, so now there's a weird spot on the front right thigh of the leggings. For pants with "fleece" in the name, I don't find these to have much fleece. They don't keep me warm if I'm just sitting around, but I get too warm and a little sweaty once I start moving around in them (walking more than a couple blocks, running, etc).

No underwear tights

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These leggings are great if you cut out the draw cord and don't wear underwear with them. I was disappointed in them aside from the pocket.. I love that pocket.. they were thinner than I expected and the material makes it so your underwear is extremely noticeable. So.... I freeball it and call it a day. They are fine on colder days, but I like their sundial leggings better.

Sooooo comfy!

Familiarity:

I love these leggings! They are super comfy, soft, and fit really well. I loved them so much when I tried them on that I kept them on for a dog walk and ended up falling and putting a hole in the knee (I will admit I?m surprised at how easily they tore, but maybe I fell super hard?). Unfortunately, the green is sold out, but I?ll be getting one of the other colors because now that I?ve put them on, I can?t not have them. Not sure what they?re like in really cold weather, but they feel plenty warm even though the fleece is only in the front. The back is still pretty thick. They fit TTS. I?m usually a M, but 20 weeks preggers so I sized up to a L and they?re great.

Really Love These!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The front is fleece lined and the back is a softshell/standard legging material. I have found them plenty warm for winter trail runs or hiking! They are super soft and comfortable and great to exercise in! The fit is perfect, true to size, and they don't fall down while running. I also love that they have a pocket for my phone!

Better than the reviews would suggest

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I'm not sure why these didn't get better reviews. I love the fit and the color blocking is really flattering. The pocket is a legit useful pocket, and the high waist keeps the leggings from moving around and is warm. I don't think I would want fleece front and back, I usually wear these climbing or hiking so the warmth factor was plenty, both sides would be overkill for me. The review noting the two different materials is correct, the fleece material has a tiny bit less stretch than the back material but it doesn't shift for me the way the other customer described it. I like these so much I got them in two colors.

Only partial fleece lining

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Only the front of these tights are fleece on the inside. The back is just regular leggings material. If I"m in cold temps I definitely need insulation on my butt and the back of my legs. These otherwise fit ok and the pocket was nice, but overall were disappointing. Returning.

They fit the bill but...

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These tights are true to size and kept me warm in the 35-40 degree range. They are only fleece lined in the front, not the back. It's too bad the description didn't say this. So far this hasn't posed a problem. Weather hasn't been much colder to test if they keep me warm in colder weather. They are long on me as I'm only 5' tall. I've learned that this isn't a problem in the colder weather as I can stretch the fabric down to cover half of my foot and then stick it in my shoe. Keeps my ankles warm without the need for taller socks.

Not a Great Fit

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Like others have said, the weatherproofing is only on the front side of the pants, which also makes the front size of the pants tighter than the back side if that makes sense. I had to regularly adjust them and pull them up due to the weird tension. The waist tie is also a loop instead of two ties, which I guess has its benefits but it?s impossible to tie and untie them with ease.
