Why We Built The Frary Fleece Jacket

Whether we are taking in the views from Frary Peak on The Great Salt Lake or adding warmth to our complex layering system, we turn to the Frary Fleece Jacket. This piece is designed for added warmth on the trail but the moisture wicking polyester construction and unique zipper design allow it to thrive as a layer under a shell on winter days as well.

  • Fleece jacket built for layering or stand alone use on the trail
  • Recycled polyester construction offers lofty warmth and comfort
  • DWR treatment fights off saturation when faced with light rain
  • Off center zipper and neck venting help control your climate
  • Dual hand pockets keep important items nearby all day long
  • Thumbholes hold sleeves in place throughout your adventure

Very cute and warm, not great for runs

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: s

This jacket is super cute. I love the color and the zipper details are stylish and functional. With both neck zippers all the way up, I kept really warm during a snowy run in freezing temps. You can zip from bottom or top to allow airflow where you need it. The small size fit my shoulder perfectly, but the cut is a bit boxy at the bottom, which is perfect for style, but not great for running. Because it doesn't hug the torso, you can't keep anything in the pockets without it jostling around while running. I'm keeping but will just use for hiking or causual wear.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Sleeve:
Have someone measure from the center of the back neck down the arm, with arm slightly bent, to the wrist bone.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Inseam:
Measure from the crotch to the floor with no shoes.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
