Vantage 97 Ti Ski
Whether you are dreaming of powder filled backcountry runs, fresh morning corduroy, or anything in between, the Atomic Vantage 97 Ti Ski can handle it with ease. The Vantage 97 is extremely versatile and agile to keep you comfortable and in control on all kinds of terrain and in all kinds of conditions thanks to its 97mm waist, All Mountain Rocker profile, and medium length turn radius.
With a generous 97mm waist this ski can easily handle just about all snow conditions. Even if you are coming from a narrower waisted ski the 97mm underfoot easily goes from edge to edge for smooth carving, while the additional width will add noticeable stability and enhance your enjoyment in fresh snow. For even more versatility the Vantage 97 features an All Mountain Rocker profile that mixes powerful camber underfoot with rocker out to the tip and tail. The camber underfoot gives you the reliable edge hold and powerful control you would expect from a front side ski while the rocker out to the tip and tail give you incredible pow ski maneuverability and float so that you can enjoy morning powder turns and end of the day crud. Tying all of this versatility together the medium length turn radius adds stability at high speeds and edge hold at any speed for confident turning. This combination allows the Vantage 97 to earn its title as a do-it-all all-mountain ski.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I'm usually not much for skiing groomers, but I had so much fun demoing these for a sunny early spring groomer day at Snow Basin. They absolutely rip on groomers and hard snow. Tip em' over and they just lock up into a carve like they're on rails, with plenty of camber to rocket you into the next turn. They have virtually no speed limit and edge hold is limitless. If you have a racing background or just want to embrace the art of the carve again, these are the ski.
I found them to be super stiff and quite damp, so in choppy leftover powder and half-formed moguls, you can pretty much just let them run and bulldoze through everything - quite satisfying if your legs can keep up. On that note, these do require quite a bit of user input and decent technique. I would recommend them for strong intermediate skiers and up. Ski them actively and stay on top of them and you'll be rewarded with a lively and attentive ski. Get in the back seat, and they'll get hooky and take you for a bit of a ride. I didn't get a chance to ski them in fresh powder, but I'd imagine they would be passable, although probably not my first choice given how stiff and cambered they are.
I'm an Atomic employee and had the chance to demo the women's version of these skis last winter, and I was impressed. With a not-so-great Utah winter last year, we kept to the groomers..and these ripped!

Recommended Sizing Guide
Your ski size is largely determined by both your skiing ability and your preferred style of skiing. For example, an expert skier in Vermont will ski a far different ski than an expert in British Columbia. So take a look at our chart and explanations and find your perfect fit. Your weight also plays a large factor in finding the right ski. If you are either under or over average weight for your height consider downsizing or upsizing, respectively.
