Atomic made it with a High Densolite composite core, which keeps the Sport snappy and lightweight, and Atomic designed it with a Sport sidecut profile for equal amounts of stability and straight-as-an-arrow tracking. The BI 2000 base is fast and doesn't require endless fussy maintenance, either, so you can focus on skiing and not making sure your skis are always freshly waxed.
