    BCT Freeride SQS Ski Poles

Give yourself an excellent touring companion by grabbing the Atomic BCT Freeride SQS Ski poles out of your truck before a deep dawn patrol mission. The high tensile strength and light weight of the aluminum shaft will keep you moving up the skin track while the beefy powder baskets and carbide tip will ensure you have confident pole plants on the way up. Additionally a bike inspired wrap grip gives you grip options while the releasable SQS strap can eject during big falls on the way down.

    • Ski pole made for the deepest of days in the backcountry
    • Lightweight aluminum shaft sheds weight while remaining strong
    • Bike inspired wrap grip lets you choke up when side-hilling
    • SQS tech releases the strap during big falls to add peace of mind
    • Big powder baskets keep your pole plants solid on the skin track
    • Carbide tip bites into iced over skin tracks and windblown areas

    Grip for Days

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was looking for a quality pole with extended grip so I could choke up on bootpacks and hikes. As a skier you don't really NEED a collapsible pole when touring and weight's not that much of an issue. My very first steep bootpack I was thankful for the fat grip and choke-ability of these guys. Strap safety release is a nice plus, no more skier's thumb for me!

    Great poles

Love the long grip area, kind of reminds me of a golf club haha, really nice for side country skiing, boot packing, and touring. Really nice how you can choke up so much on the pole
