Fun in the mountains.
Named for a prominent peak in Washington state, the Astis Colchuck Glove dreams of playing in the mountains. It’s constructed with silicone-injected suede leather to resist snow and slush, and insulated with Polartec Thermal Pro High Loft insulation to keep your fingers from freezing. Each glove is hand sewn and hand beaded, and will have slight variations in the leather, giving you a unique piece of wearable art.

- Q & A
These are my first pair of Astis gloves. I was a little hesitant to shell out the $120+, but after wearing them on a camping/hiking road trip to the San Luis Valley and Taos, Iâm a believer. It took a couple of days to break them in, but man, do they feel good now. And theyâre BY FAR the warmest gloves Iâve ever owned. The first night we camped, the Valley received about of inch of sleet and temps dropped into single digits. As long as my gloves were on, my fingers remained toasty. I look forward to years of use/enjoyment. NOTE: I would describe my hands as borderline line Large-XL. If youâre a full on XL or larger, these probably arenât for you. If Astis made XL, I wouldâve returned the Large.
