Ski Trip 30L Backpack

The Arva Ski Trip 30L Backpacks boasts an innovative, minimalist construction that serves as a versatile workhorse for touring the backcountry whether you're dawn patrolling before work, riding for a full day, or even ski mountaineering. Its ultralight, durable ripstop fabric has a waterproof coating to ensure reliable protection in powdery environments, and Arva constructed the pack with as few seams as possible for enhanced weather protection. Instead of a zipper, the Ski Trip uses magnetic buckles at the top lid for a lighter weight and glove-friendlier convenience. The multi-purpose straps can be conformed to carry skis, snowboards, and axes so you don't have multiple attachments weighing you down.

  • Minimalist backpack built for backcountry touring
  • 30L capacity sized for full days and quick tours
  • Waterproofed fabric includes limited seams for reliable protection
  • Top lid accessed with magnetic buckles
  • Multi-purpose straps carry skis, snowboards, and ice axes
  • Sleeves and pockets sized for avalanche gear, goggles, and valuables

Professional Splitboard Guide

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: One size

This is my go to pack for touring and splitboard mountaineering objectives. It fits all of my professional and personal gear. The pack’s material keeps everything inside nice and dry and sheds moisture. Use caution when taking the pack off while on steep firm snow, it can easily slide due to the material. The stitched side oriented buckle on the hip belt is sometimes cumbersome especially when I have lots of layers on, but it’s not that big of a deal. All in all an awesome pack!
