Through your highest highs and lowest lows.

Whether you're getting pummeled by a storm on a frigid lift ride or you're forced to break trail after each lap because your skintrack refilled, the Armada Women's Resolution Gore-Tex 3L Jacket will keep you dry and comfortable. Made with a 3-layer Gore-Tex membrane, fully taped seams, and a soft and breathable Gore C-Knit backer, the Resolution is a burly shell ready to take on the wrath of Mother Nature.

The Resolution isn't a jacket you'd call minimalist. Underarm zips dump heat quickly when you start to overheat on the uphill, and the hood is helmet-compatible with a laminated brim for extra protection from the elements. The pocket zippers are water-resistant to thwart any moisture that would seep through. To eliminate that pesky gap that can occur between cuff and glove, the Resolution is equipped with stretch Lycra wrist gaiters with thumbholes, providing a seamless fit, and the jacket is also designed to integrate with the Armada Highline Bibs for head-to-toe protection from the elements.

  • A burly ski jacket to protect you from the elements
  • 3-layer Gore-Tex shell is waterproof and breathable
  • Fully taped seams prevent moisture from seeping throught
  • Underarm vents dump heat quickly during the ascent
  • Helmet-compatible hood adds extra protection from snow
  • Powder skirt keeps you dry during deep powder days

Nice features, way too big

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: xs

I'm 5'6" and 115lbs and the xs is way too big in weird places. The jacket fit great width wise, but was a little too long and the arms and huge. The sleeves come past my fingers so if you cinch the wrists then there's all this extra baggy material, way to much.

Oh hay

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: small

I love Armada, they have been a part of my heart and soul since i figured out you could hit a rail on skis.

This jacket is geared towards touring which I haven't used it for yet! It has large vents, breathable fabric and really solid zippers!

This jacket fits a bit more roomy but that is Armada's style!

I love the 2 tone pink so much. I'm not a pink person but I love pairing this jacket with everything black.

Along with my purple/black QST boots, purple and black Armada skis and black pants, this might be my favorite get up

Oh hay

Very Impressed with this Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

As soon as I tried this jacket on in the Evo store I knew I was getting it, it fit great! Im 5'6 and 165 lbs and the large is great. Its just long enough to cover your butt on the chair lift but doesn't feel too long, the sleeves are comfortably long as well, its not frumpy at all though, it almost seems like it has a bit of a tailored fit to the stomach area so it looks cute but there is still plenty of room for layers and (this is my favorite part) there is a nice amount of shoulder room so you don't feel so restricted! I am a little broad shouldered so a lot of jackets have felt too tight for me in that region but that is not the case for this guy! I got the Mauve color even though i really wanted the forest green but I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone and not buy so much green lol I actually haven't tried out the jacket in skiing conditions yet because ski season hasn't started yet but I'm sure the gore tex material will be all that it always has been, exceptional. Thanks for making an awesome jacket Armada!

Keeps Wind, Snow, and Rain out!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I purchased this for skiing but then my hiking trip to Banff was altered by snow and low temps, so I decided to test this jacket out and it was amazing! Kept the wind out and the Gortex 3L did not fail! I kept my Camera tucked away inside my jacket and fit my second favorite lense in the internal pocket for easy access.

I loved the longer sleeves that end on a taper so the tops of your hands are covered but the material does not interfear with dexterity.

The jacket is longer and keeps your bum covered, which is always a plus! It was so effective at keeping the wind and snow out that at one point I removed several of my base layers! The hood is oversized and will for sure fit over my ski helmet but it was also nice to have when hiking into a snow storm. When it was time to return to warmer temps it was super easy to pack and took up almost no space in my pack!

I did purchase a medium, it is a little big if worn alone but it was perfect for having layers underneath.

    Not Impressed

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: medium

Jacket arrived with scuff marks all over the front of it, tried it on anyway, action on zippers is poor, and the over all feel of the jacket is cheap. Bummed! Liked the colors!

    Love it!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I purchased this jacket right before it started to snow, and I've already clocked in a few ski tours, super cold resort days, and warm, pits-unzipped, lift served days, and I'm still super excited about it.

This jacket lives up to it's hype. It's lightweight, durable, and the perfect jacket for all conditions. It's the perfect shell for touring, and easy to layer underneath when it's cold. It's long enough, but not so long that it looks like a tunic.

The pockets are big and well placed - I'm very grateful for the hole intended for headphones in the left chest pocket and the sleeve pocket is perfect for keeping my pass.

This jacket is absolutely worth the money, I'm counting on it to last through the next few seasons of heavy use.

    Love it!

    In love!

I was hesitant to drop the money on a fancy-shmancy jacket as I tend to be pretty brutal on all of my ski clothes through winter, but I must say this jacket is killer!

Pros: I really like how long the jacket is. It easily sits below my bum, keeping it nice and dry when I sit down to strap in. I also really love the color. I didn't think I would be a fan of something so bright, as I normally like to blend in, but this red is really cute! And all of the pockets. I can't get enough love out of how awesome they are! The 2 chest pockets are HUGE. Really nice for days on the hill and snacks, or for stashing some dog bags on walks. The hand pockets are also nicely sized for whatever you may need to put in there. And the sleeve pocket? It's quite nice for stashing your pass for easy access through those lift gates.

Cons: I can really only think of one, and it's that it runs a little small.

In the picture, you will see the color of the jacket in action on the very far left.

    In love!

    How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
    Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose. In most pants, waist size doesn’t correspond to any measurement of your actual waist, or where you wear your pants. Waist sizes on pants still generally coordinate with where people wore their pants back in the day, and that’s just below your belly button. Today, pants are generally worn on the high-hip, the widest area of the seat, where your femur ends. All this said, the difference between where you likely wear your pants and your listed pant size usually isn’t more than an inch and a half. So if your high-hip measures 34, you’re in the neighborhood of a 33 size pant.
    Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug, not loose enough to slide off but not so tight that it jams up your breathing. Lower your arms, take a breath and see what the tape tells you.
    Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
    Sleeve:
Measure from the middle of your neck to your wrist bone. Use one hand to line up the tape end with the bone sticking out on the back end of your neck and let the tape drop over your shoulder and down your arm so you can see where the wrist lays.
