This jacket has style and function!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this jacket for my fiance. This jacket has it is: style and technicality! With the long length and slim fit it looks cool, And the Gore Tex fabric keeps him dry from the Utah winter elements. He can comfortably fit a small puffy jacket underneath for colder days (size medium, 5’10 - 190 lbs). The jacket is lightweight, and super versatile - he wears it everywhere from the park to touring back country. The ventilation on this garment is a game-changer.

Perfect blend of style and function

This jacket has the perfect ratio of style and function. It's clean, slimmer, longer cut makes it easy to swap out the snow pants for jeans for apres activities once you're done on the mountain without having to worry about an overly bulky ski jacket. And while slimmer The long tail even doubles as a seat protector when you want to sit outside on a wet bench after a storm!

The 3 Layer Gore-Tex construction with fully taped seams means you won't be taking any extra trips to the lodge to warm up on a powder day when every run counts, and the armpit vents make it easy to cool off when the sun comes out.

The RECCO Reflector system also provides a last line of defense in dangerous avalanche conditions. By no means is it a replacement for a standard avalanche beacon, but it can be a life saver in dire situations such as an unexpected in-bounds avalanche or equipment failure in your regular beacon.

I suggest this jacket for anybody that needs a serious layer of defense against the elements. It's a perfect fit whether you're waking up for a dawn patrol tour or slashing pow all day in the resort.

Great Look. Great Quality.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

The jacket features a slimmer, more technical fit. However, at 5'8" and 165 lbs, the medium fits well. Provides great mobility, enough storage for your phone, snacks, gloves, etc. If you're a fan of the penguin tail, this is the jacket for you. If you're not, well tighten the cord at the bottom of the jacket and it's no more. The vents under the arms are easily accessible and provide great breathability. Went with the Port/Black and love the look so far. Pairs well with the Basin pant.
