Invictus 89 Ti Ski

Tear up frontside groomers and your favorite tree runs on the nimble and stable Armada Invictus 89 Ti. This directional charger with a waist in the high 80mm's depending on length, provides the perfect blend of confidence inspiring stability and superior edge to edge control, for race-ski like control on groomers and other frontside terrain. The short turn radius allows for tight slalom turns every time you engage the edge, while the AR Nose rocker allows for easy turn initiation and encourages you to venture into untouched terrain due to its added float. Additionally, the beefy titanal laminates provide the responsiveness and durability demanded by high level skiers everywhere so that you can count on the Invictus 89 Ti to never hold you back.

  • Inbounds ski that provides power, drive, and control
  • 88mm waist provides edge to edge control and float off piste
  • AR nose rocker adds float and eases turn initiation
  • Short turn radius encourages quick turns and hard edging
  • 2.2 Impact edge holds up to run-ins with rocks and stumps
  • Intelligrid laminate boosts torsional and longitudinal stiffness
  • Titanal sheets boost response, power, and hold with your edges
  • Comp Series base is the fastest made by Armada for quality glide

Fun Carving Ski!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was trying to decide between the Armada Invictus 89 Ti and the Blizzard Brahma. I went with the Invictus 187 due both its dampness (I have a plate and some screws in my tibia that don't like excessive feedback), as well as for its level of stiffness. Sometimes I want to rip around the mountain and not have to “to be on it" to ski, especially when there hasn’t been any recent snow. The softer tips make it easy to engage these skis and lay them over. I haven't felt this sporty since my hard boot snowboarding days. In comparison to the Brahma, I also preferred the extra off piste and soft snow ability should it snow more than expected on a long stay.
