Breathable protection from valleys to peaks.
The trail's full of surprises, but ridgeline winds aren't one of them, Arc'teryx made the Tenquille Men's Softshell Hooded Jacket. It's a lightweight, packable, and breathable hiking shell that's designed to stop the wind and keep you from overheating when the trail gets steep and the weather turns a little gusty. It's also treated with a water-repellent DWR coating to shed moisture, has extra-breathable and extra-stretchy underarm panels, and comes with a small fitted hood that adds an extra shot of warmth and water repellency. Since the Tenquille is designed to be worn under a pack, Arc'teryx made sure that the hand pockets were compatible with a waist belt and designed the hem drawcord to lay flat and avoid uncomfortable bunching, which is the last thing you need when you're working your way up a blustery and exposed ridge.
