Arc'teryx Iser Pant - Men's
Arc'teryxIser Pant - Men's

For the all-day down-hill adventure.

The powder is falling, there are free refills, and you plan on going bell to bell. Breathe easy with the Arc’teryx Men's Iser Pant; you won’t have to go inside for anything less than a tasty beverage. Waterproof 3-layer Gore-Tex has taped seams to keep the snow right where you want it—under your feet—but still allows any body heat to vent out. When you decide to traverse out to some fresh goods, zip open the side vents and keep on pushing. Plus, it doesn’t matter if you’re spending the day making figure eights or hucking cliffs while the landing is soft, the articulated knees allow full range of movement and the internal belt makes sure they fit just right. They’re durable on the outside, fending off tears from rocks and trees, but soft on the inside thanks to a brushed back fleece lining.

  • A versatile shell pant that keeps you out all day on the slopes
  • Gore-Tex offers its signature breathable waterproof protection
  • Articulated knees for unrestrictive motion through all your turns
  • Zippered side vents let you cool off between runs
  • Reinforced instep patches protect against edges and crampons
  • Arc’teryx is named after Archaeopteryx, a symbol of evolutionary transition

Nice Functionality

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Great ski pants with half a season of use so far. I like that they are a trimmer fit. Each pocket has two zippers, which I've yet to find the utility of but am sure someone has. One of my favorite underrated features is the functionality of the integrated belt and latch. It just works.

I wear the Iser pants with the Rush jacket. These pants do have the connections for the Rush powder skirt (which is not widely marketed) and snaps in just fine.

The Wait is Over

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I've really enjoyed my first few ski days in these pants. Great fit, easy mobility (even when tele skiing), and very durable. Very deep pockets, which sometimes will put your car keys on your mid thigh. Simple, straightforward, clean design without unnecessary frills - classic Arc'teryx construction.

Great Pants

I really like these. I prefer a thinner cut pant, as opposed to something like the sabre, which is much baggier. These are almost the same, but with a trimmer fit. I would recommend them for sure.
