The jacket you want when things get nasty.

Your winter gear needs to be up to the task when the wind is whipping past your tent and your breath is falling back on your face in tiny little icicles, but you can rest easy knowing you have the Arc'teryx Women's Cerium SV Hooded Down Jacket to cozy up in.

The 850-fill down and Coreloft insulation combine the light and compressible nature of down with the water-resistant properties of synthetic insulation in key areas to keep you as warm while you move through the mountains. The DWR finish helps shed light precipitation, so although it might not be the best standalone layer in soggy Pacific Northwest conditions, the Cerium SV really shines during frigid days in the Rockies. Plus, if the weather does get wet, the trim fit means you can layer a waterproof hardshell over this jacket. Use the zippered hand pockets to store some essentials like your map, compass, and candy.

  • A warm, insulated puffy for severe winter conditions
  • 850-fill down is lightweight and packable
  • Coreloft synthetic insulation in areas prone to moisture
  • Women-specific design articulated for maximum mobility
  • Insulated StormHood holds in extra heat
  • Adjustable hem drawcord seals out deep pow

Planned to wear it as a belay jacket but it turns out it’s great for climbing too!

    Love this jacket!!

The perfect puffy. Comfortable, stylish, and warm. I love everything about this jacket. It gets pretty warm some days otherwise I would try to wear it every day. The fit is true to size and the DWR finish works well for light rain. I haven’t worn it in a full on rainstorm so I’m not sure how it will do but so far I have zero complaints.

      The Ultimate Down Jacket

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

This is an investment piece that is well-worth the investment. I receive compliments on this jacket every time I wear it....and that's just for how it looks.....if people even knew how warm and comfortable it is! The Nighthawk color is gorgeous......I'm in love with this jacket!

      Tip Top

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: Medium

This is the best jacket I've owned in my life. It's so incredibly warm, the material is soft and while it has a high loft it's not to the point where you feel like you're the marshmallow man wearing it. The DWR treatment is pretty good, but not as impressive as some of the treatments on other arc'teryx items I own.

I've been wearing this for several weeks now in weather that hasn't been too cold, but I recently tested this out on a weekend out in Ouray ice climbing. It did the trick and kept me nice and toasty while belaying and when the temps dipped at night. If anything this jacket is too warm. Zero complaints here! I usually size up in Arc'teryx tops and I did that with this one too and I'm happy with the fit.

One of my most prized possessions

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this jacket. It's so warm and amazing. It's surprisingly thin but honestly too warm for a lot of my days. It's a slim fit so it definitely runs tight but the slim fit also makes it look more stylish. I 've had this coat for a few years and I reserve it for skiing, or for colder evenings where I want to look more presentable and not wear a giant puffy coat. I've worn this a bunch without a shell skiing but it also is a great layering piece.

Nice jacket with excellent fit !

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: medium

This is a great jacket for very cold days, very warm and flattered fit. The fit is probably one of the best in its category, compared with Marmot, Rap, Patagonia jackets. I have not tried the jacket in a snowy day and I am not sure how this material will handle the snow. Hopefully it won't disappoint me.

      Warm, packable, puffy

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: Medium

Got this for really cold days at altitude for an upcoming climb to Kilimanjaro. I have had the chance to test it multiple times in single digit to subzero temperatures in Chicago even before leaving and it is truly a warm jacket. It is very easy to stuff into the stuff sac, which is conveniently sewn into the interior pocket (great for people like me who *always* lose those!). I will say I normally wear a S due to my shoulders and bust being on the small side but I sized up to a M to make sure that the hips fit and am glad I did. If you are more 'pear' shaped like me, definitely use the hip measurement as your guide. There is not give there and honestly don't want it to ride up and let the cold air in. It has room to give them in the chest but this is fine as it leave plenty of room for layers at camp.

I will also say that wearing it on a 25*F day to walk 10 mi even with only one layer on underneath made me way too warm. So if you are looking for something for those really cold days - this is your jacket. If you are looking for something to do vigorous exercise around 20-30*, you should pick something lighter weight.

      Packable Warmth

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Fit: True to size

I got this to replace my stepmom's old Patagonia Michelin Man puffy that was shedding worse than my dog. Although she hasn't been able to put it to the true test in dead winter, so far it's a winner! It's crazy how lightweight it is, but how much warmth it can pack in- definitely of the high quality expected from ArcTeryx. It does offer a flattering fit- she typically takes a Medium in tops and the M fits like a glove without being restricting. The drop-hem is nice too, definitely will help keep the cold winds from flying up the back of your shirt! All in all, initial impressions of size and quality are top notch- can't wait for her to take it out next winter and not shed feathers every which direction!

      How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
      Bust:
With arms relaxed at your sides, measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your bust/chest.
      Waist:
Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
      Hip:
Standing with feet hip width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
      Inseam:
From standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.
      Sleeve:
With arm relaxed at your side and slightly bent, measure from center back neck, across shoulder to elbow and down to wrist.
      Crotch to Floor:
With bare feet, measure from your crotch down the inside leg to the floor.
*Actual inseam length will vary depending on what Arc'teryx deemed suitable for end use footwear.
