Great Helmet

I bought an Aera Helmet last year and I accidentally left it on the top of the mountain before my last run. I needed a new one for next season and I loved the fit of this helmet the first time. The shape of this helmet is great for my head and it fits true to size. I haven't used my new helmet yet but it was a great buy the first time and I anticipate this one being just as great. It's exactly the same, just a trendy new design; so far i love it.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I probably tried on about 50 helmets before I found this one that actually fits, is comfortable and cute! A lot of the other helmets I tried on felt really heavy but this one was a lot lighter. The brim on the front is a really great feature because it keeps the snow off the top of your goggles. The one thing I dislike about this helmet is that it does start to put pressure on my ears after a few hours, but I feel like this is probably something that I would have noticed with other helmets too.

    Glitter Bomb!

Best helmet ever. Super stylie and cozy. I LOVE IT!

    The Anon Aera Kills It

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Anon absolutely killed it with the Aera. I got the Jungle Black color, and I love it. The fleece is so warm I don't even wear a beanie under my helmet anymore when I board. There are vents under the visor that are perfect for cooling off on your run down, and close them to warm your noggin back up going up the lift. I don't like a helmet that is bulky, and Anon came in clutch with this low profile helmet. Clean look, comfortable fit, great function. My only complaint was the audio accessibility on this specific color. As I was looking for the audio access I couldn't find it ANYWHERE. All the other colors seemed to have a zipper access, but there is no zipper on the Jungle Black color. After searching and messing with the helmet, I finally found the audio access. You have to take the ear inserts out, and there is Velcro access to put audio in. I was worried about a goggle gap and not having a clean look with the visor, but do not hesitate. I have Oakley Flight Deck XM Prizm Goggles that match flawlessly. You won't be disappointed. 10/10 would recommend.

    Looks good

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this for my wife as I have a Blitz. She really happy with it, and it looks more stylish on her, as she wears a small, unlike my big xl head.

Love the look and feel of this helmet. All helmets make you look goofy but this one has a much better look to it. First time ever using a helmet-grew up in the era where helmets weren't available. Here's to protecting my brain.
