New to the Olympus is a redesigned upper, built with minimal seams to be more breathable and resistant to everyday trail abrasion. The midsole is now more responsive and allows for a greater natural flex, promoting a more efficient and speedy stride. A Vibram MegaGrip outsole provides durable grip on dusty switchbacks and slippery climbs. It's also been widened at the heel for increased stability on long and rugged runs. A hook and loop tab at the heel easily attaches to gaiters to keep trail debris from sneaking in.

For the rest of the shoe, you've got all of Altra's innovative technology working to keep your foot healthy and your performance high. A FootShape toe box helps your toes to spread naturally while keeping your big toe in a straight position for more stability and power.
