JUNK - Don't Buy

Purchased this table on sale as I wanted a light in-tent table when car camping. Had it set up in my lounge room and 30 mins later a leg broke when a large book was placed on top of the table.
Clearly a design fault. The legs are aluminium but connect to a plastic lug at the very top which sheared straight through - probably had a fault.
The table comes with a "LIFETIME" Warranty. But when I contacted Backcountry customer service they refused to replace it as "I had used a reshipper to send it overseas".
    $40 lost and lesson learned!

    Perfect for car or backpack

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love the table, sometimes you get tired of balancing things on rocks and logs and this is nice to have, I use it in elk camp next to my cot and it makes a great night stand. Backpacking its great to have also. Keeps things off the ground and just the right height

So far, this table is great! Incredibly light, easy to fold, and the bag is the perfect size to get it packed up without hassle (I wasn't sure it came with one, but I'm glad it did). It's a great height for some low camp chairs we have and decent for a hammock if you hang it low, at least better than the ground. I love that it has cup holders, although I wish they were big enough to hold a Nalgene bottle. If you need something to cook on or to hold a lot of weight, keep looking, but for hanging out and keeping things off the ground, it's perfect.

    Lightest Table Travels Well

The ALPS Mountaineering Trail Table is so light and compact that it fits in my bike rack, along with a compact folding high back chair. It serves as a lightweight meal table, and a surface on which to empty pockets and reorganize. The beverage cups keep liquids under control. When paired with my high back folding chair and an inflatable pillow, the table supports my legs, making an outdoor "recliner"! It sets up in seconds, which is great around the camp fire after a long day. GREAT, MULTI-USE, LIGHT TABLE!
