We have had this chair set up in our living room since I opened it on Christmas! It is the chair of choice and a fight often occurs when two people arrive in the room at the same time. It has a very spacious seat. Nice cup holder, although I have seen some that would be easier to get the cup in and out. It could easily fit two children in it at one time. Not two adults though. It feels sturdy and I have no doubt that it will handle the abuse that comes with loading and unloading it in the camp trailer. Plan to sit by many campfires this upcoming summer, and I will be the most comfortable. Problem might be that if I leave my chair for a minute, someone is going to jump right in it.
simple and fast to set up. a little on the heavy side but i really enjoy it
Best chair for us big guys. No flex. No sagging. No ripping. Down sides--- 1) Large fold down, not so easy to store. 2) not easy to take down at first. The back it supported by two pieces that plug in to the main frame... getting those unplugged can be a pain!!! 3) Not the most comfy for lounging. The chair situates you in an upright position and does not let you slouch very comfortably. Would rather have a chair that allows you to just relax. But the upside to this is... you are not sitting so deep into the chair that it is impossible to get out. Some chairs just swallow you and you have to muscle your way out.
I bought 3 of these chairs to replace my 12 year old ALPS over sized chair. The chair pictured is the same as my old chair, but the chairs I received are quite a bit smaller and NOT nearly as comfortable. The cup holder is not as pictured either. It is mounted on the front, which is useless if you have 2 legs. It is under my right leg. WHY, WHY, WHY did they ruin a great chair???
Very sturdy and comfy. Good support and great for use camping or in my case at the flea market. Good durability and quality material.
The chair was is made of very durable material and strong base that won't break easily. Packs up and moves around from place to place easily without taking up to much space. I've gotten multiple ones for the whole family. Extremely comfortable. I'm 6'5 and 315 lbs and it holds me just fine.
This is the most comfortable camp chair we've ever used, period. Definitely for car camping as it takes up room and is on the heavy side, but you won't want to get up and leave the campfire once you are in it.
Bought these chairs based on the reviews. The frame in the front extends beyond the seat so that the backs of my legs (I'm 5'4") are touching hard cold uncomfortable metal . Bummer. They are nice and sturdy, just really uncomfortable to sit in.....especially wearing shorts. I'm guessing the other reviewers have really long legs.
I got this chair for my Dad after his Eureka chair fell victim to an over-weight neighbor. He loves this chair and its quality. As a full-time RV'er, having a comfortable chair to set outside is a must for him.
Keep in mind, the weight and lack of carry bag makes this a house or car camping chair only. You would not have fun using this for backpacking.
If you want a chair that will hold up to the rigors of various users and keep you very comfortable, this is a great option.
I have used this on several camping trips, as well as in the yard and even indoors; it is a great chair. Lots of times I will couple the chair with a cooler, creating a pretty nice ottoman set up.
It will take up a bit more room than lots of camping chairs while in transport, but the comfort and overall quality of the build should more than make up for that. I would not hesitate to buy this chair again.

This is an amazing chair. Padded, sturdy armrests, and the lean back factor is second to none. It's definitely a car camping chair, because it's big and heavy, for a folding chair. I use it as a desk chair, it's that comfy.
One suggestion I found out is to put the pieces of the backrest into the slots before unfolding, and fold up slightly before taking them out. This is probably common sense, but there you go. Highly recommended.
This chair is bomber! I bought it for my dad who has a lot of trouble getting in and out of chairs. This chair is really strong and stable. You don't sink down low, and you can put all your weight on the arm rests and the thing won't budge. It isn't the lights thing out there but not bad for 10 lbs. This is really comfortable to sit in. You sit upright and don't slink down and get all slumped up like a lot of folding chairs. My dad has it set up in the living room when we aren't on an outing because it is as comfortable and easy to get in and out of as any chair in the house. And for you out there, after a few beers following a hard day in the mountains, that's a good thing.
I've never liked the usual "bag chairs" - the arm rests generally slide downward until they're unusable; and I always feel like I'm slumped too far down when sitting in one. As a senior citizen, getting out of a bag chair is more difficult, too.
While this chair takes up more room than a bag chair, the ingenious take-apart backrest makes this fold into a compact unit (much smaller than most "director's chairs"). Putting it together is a snap - and it's super-comfy to sit in. It seems very well-made and durable - assuming you don't leave it sitting in the sun to rot out- it should last for years?!
Very sturdy, love the back position and the sturdy arms, very roomy, comfortable, easy to handle, love the green color, your price was very reasonable, the free shipping was greatly appreciated, and I would gladly do business with you again.
It appears that the 'cup holder' could benefit from a more functional design. It's great for small items, cell phone, etc. but I wouldn't trust a cup/can/bottle unless it was sealed.
Thanks for exceeding my expectations and offering great quality and service at affordable and reasonable prices.
Peace.
