Gotta bring the guac.
Your first instinct is to leave the dip behind when you head into the wilderness, but who wants plain chips? Keep your taste buds satisfied with AlpineAire's Classic Guacamole. All you have to do is mix a third cup of cold water—no need to waste any precious gas from your backpacking stove—into the pouch's combination of hass avocados, serrano peppers, tomatoes, onions, and spices for the perfect treat after a long day of hiking.
- Instant guacamole for alpine trekking and backpacking
- A third cup of cold water mixes to create a great dipping option
- Q & A
Tastes like rotten avos
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I made this to add to my backpacking burritos for dinner and boy was I disappointed. It tastes pretty bad, think rotten avocados, and has a terrible texture. Like it tried to have "chunks" of avocado but it doesn't distract from the pasty texture. I added more water to it but it was going to turn in to a soup before the texture was solved. I wouldn't recommend this until day 5 on a long backpacking trip for it to be satisfying.
