Really cool customer service.

I ordered a pair of these Terrex boots for a winter hiking trip to CA in Jan. Wasn't sure of the size when they arrived. Chatted with a lady (Jaclyn i think) on the online chat.

Not only did they 2 day ship me a pair half size smaller for free but also honored the sale price that had expired. I tested both out at home, found the perfect pair and now returning one of them.

Thanks so much, great experience with you guys.

    maybe the perfect boot

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 13

I'm on my second pair of these, and they're perfect for me. First, they're incredibly light for the level of performance they provide. I primarily use them for wet weather hiking and for backpacking (35 lbs or less). They have stiff soles, which I prefer, and they are waterproof. The soles perform a lot better than they would appear to. I live in the Chugach Mountains, so mine see a lot of steep up and down. They really grip well coming down steep slopes. Sadly, like most light fabric boots they wear out. Personally I'll trade occasionally replacing boots to lugging around the leather monsters I used to wear. Great boot.

    Stiff, but monsterous

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

nice looking shoes, black on black on black is super-traveling-DJ right now, lol... the boots are really stiff on the foot and less comfortable in the beginining, but aggressive and waterproof. So just depends what you're looking for. I hiked 20 miles in the peru rainforest without breaking them in first; no blisters, no wet feet, no slips and slides. Size is spot on with all other Adidas shoes (10.5).

    Great for hiking

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these to my brother-in-law as a gift and he has nothing but positive things to say. He has worn Soloman SpeedCross 3's for the past couple years but after constant disappointment, I wanted to give him a new pair of Adidas to try out. Based on his experience, the Adidas shoes are head and shoulders above the Soloman's in fit, durability, comfort, and water resistance.

    Great ... with a caveat

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these to replace and old pair of Vasque Gtex hikers. I love the light weight and traction, and they do a fine job in wet conditions. My caveat is that they are built for (relatively) low volume feet. I wear a size 13 and have a medium to high medium volume foot. Found that the permanently attached lacing system requires a little extra effort to get into the boot. That's not a huge issue but it's a thing. The other and more troubling issue is that (for my feet) the interior rivet that holds the top lacing hook in place is not fully covered by the tongue and thus crated a hot spot for the first dozen or so times. That's generally broken in now but I still feel it with thinner socks. And that's the volume issue.

Do I like them and would I buy them again? Yes .... but if your foot is on the higher end of the volume spectrum I'd wear them indoors on carpet for an hour or two to make sure you're comfortable.

    New everyday kicks

Admittedly, I have used these for their intended purpose. I wear these everyday because they are comfortable, light, and the fit just right. I'm in and out of snow and puddles all the time and have never had a wet sock in these.

Walking and Hiking on the wild side.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The hiking boots are true to the advertised fit. They not only look good, I find them comfortable and they stabilize my ankle. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Pretty Good

I personally have weak ankles and it gives good support and grip. Used it a few times on moderate hikes not bad so far. Only complaint would be the quick lace is a big long.

Which shoe is this actually? The two pictures look like completely different shoes!

    Hey Nick,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! The Base Green/Black/Semi Solar Yellow variant has an inaccurate product image. I have marked this item's photo to be corrected. It should take a few days to get the accurate image uploaded.
