A favorite among desert climbers.
You tried climbing in shorts to stay cooler under the hot desert sun, and the result was scraped and sunburned calves. This time around you're going to opt for a pair of pants, and European-owned ABK would like to recommend the Women's Zora Climbing Pants. ABK made them out of light, breathable cotton to assure comfort in warm weather, and a bit of stretch makes sure you can high step with ease.
- Climbing-specific pants ideal for climbing in the desert
- Light, breathable, and durable fabric with a hint of stretch
- Subtle elastic waist with harness-friendly buttons

Gr8 range of motion, don't fit my hips
- Size Bought: Large
I tried on these and a pair of pants by Black Diamond. These definitely had the better range of motion--didn't limit the moves I could make. They were also pretty comfy overall. However, they did kind of awkwardly pull around my crotch. Not sure if that's because of the shape of my hips and butt (they are wide) or because I got a size too small, but I felt self-conscious enough about it that I'm sending them back.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: L
I bought these plants because they are cute...don't laugh, you know you might too. They fit perfect (I wear a 10-12 and got a large). Stretchy, comfy, perfect for any move you might need to make. They are too long for my 5'3" hgt, but the cinch at the ankles can be turned up and its like they got hemmed. They slide over my calves and stay put, no rolling required. The closure is great because the zipper comes up all the way and the snaps go over the top, no zipper sliding down without you noticing. The fabric seems to be holding up well, but time will have to tell there.
