Since when did SAC start having these $1 deals? I bought ~$600 worth of stuff over the course of 2 months last year from SAC and they never had these deals. I come back a year later and there's so much more activity

I don't believe I've ever seen a backcountry coupon code that was good on anything other than regular priced merchandise. If it is good on sale items, it's always whichever is the better deal (the sale % off or the coupon % off), but you don't get both.
